Late August is a strange kind of timekeeper

She makes you wonder if time really moves forward, or if we’re just finding our way back to forgotten summers.

Today she asked me how I ended up in the same place, in the same season, years later.

I showed her this photo.

A favorite from that strange, suspended summer of covid. A slice of life I almost forgot, yet somehow the light today is exactly as it was that day.

Late August told me to tell you: keep taking photos. And she’ll fold time again but will keep each season’s little moments safe in her tall summer grass 🌾🌀

You know what’s fun about real estate photography? I get to step inside homes I would normally never see! 🏡
