BOTSWANA POWER CORPORATION ELECTRICITY TARIFF AJUSTMENTS, EFFECTIVE 01 JULY 2025

In light of the recent electricity tariff adjustments announced by the Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority, the public is advised that, effective 1st July 2025, new tariffs have been implemented across all customer categories. Domestic customers are billed under a stepped tariff structure aimed at protecting low-usage households and promoting energy efficiency, with consumption up to 200 kWh receiving a 30% tariff reduction, while usage beyond this threshold will incur a 5% increase.
