On this day 2 years ago, and it was on a Friday then... somewhere between 1200 hours and 1300 hours, following admission into a Nyangabgwe Hospital in Francistown a day before, you gave your last breathe... the confusion the pain the sadness the grief that followed thereafter to date...
Oh you left a big gap, one that no one can ever fill but on the other side, in all this you left big memories, great ones that we curated as we lived daily with you then... each one of us can paint a picture of the journey we had and we can build a massive library with such memories...
Your kids and their kids are still here to remember you... a great pain struck again in March this year and we lost one of our own, your daughter Farewell Patience Kedibonye Mokobi yet again and the pain magnified what was already on a path of healing...
We pray daily without ceasing that the Lord keeps us intact and sane, and that we continue to lean on Him and trust Him as He is our only refuge and strength.
As a family we thank God for continuous support from the bigger family, friends and community at large, we are because they are and we remain forever grateful for the love and support and check-ins from all.
Thank you God for gifting us with a mother so loving so caring so patient and so divine. We may have lost a warrior but we live on the lessons she taught us. Pain comes but it also goes and we accept it is what we will go through in this world. Our loving dearest mother is restingπ
