Therefore, for the good of the world, let us, together with Vishnu and Shiva, propitiate Devi.” Having said this, Brahma, accompanied by Shiva, Vishnu, and other gods, reached the marvelous peak of the Himalayas, on the banks of the Ganges River, and bowed before the Supreme Universal Devi, praising her devoutly with hands clasped in prayer: “Salutations to Devi, to the great Devi; our constant salutations to the auspicious one. Salutations to Prakriti, the primordial force, to Good. With moderation, we bow before her.” With many other hymns like these, filled with devotion, they praised Devi.

After freeing Nanda and all the Gopikas, she will pursue the arrogant and powerful demons to kill them. Frightened by the Devi's bravery, the demons flee.
