We are the Fernandes family. We moved from Brazil to Florida to provide the best possible world for our son, who is autistic. Our life is full of challenges, but even more so with light and love.
That's why I photograph the way I do. I know how precious every smile and every connection is. My lens is my way of telling your story as we build ours here.

Throwback to 2012: Blinded by the sun, hands freezing, but worth every second for this shot. Technique meets the magic of nature.
A small aperture (F22) for a grand moment. I could barely see the results on the screen back then, but the sun had a plan of its own.
Pico do Gavião, 2012. It was freezing and the light was challenging, but when the veil caught the wind, everything else faded away.

A trip to Rome.

Photographing an Indian wedding was like going back in time... yes! For those who watched the 2009 soap opera “Caminhos das Índias.” If I’m not mistaken, it was one of the most watched soap operas by author Glória Pérez in
several countries. I felt like I was inside the soap opera, and it was a great pleasure to be part of this moment in the lives of Jeet and Nicole. I was hired by the groom’s mother, who made me feel very comfortable from the start. I thought the language would be a difficulty, but I was wrong. Everything flowed so smoothly, so calmly... Thank you very much for your trust and opportunity.
