Superhero Photoshoot 🕷️♥️🕸️
There is something absolutely magical about this age and the dress-up stage. They wear those costumes and that’s it. They simply believe they are super heroes. Or anything you tell them for that matter. And that is so powerful for us parents. May we be the first ones to always believe in our kids and their wonders blindly and make them believe that the sky is the limit for them.

As parents I think it has been beyond devastating to watch some of the latest news and how it has affected children in so many countries with wars and natural disasters.

I pray we are able to shape our boys with a lot of love, courage and compassion. May they always try to care and lift others like true superheroes. May they always believe. 🙏🏾♥️🙏🏾

Superhero Photoshoot 🕷️♥️🕸️
Throwback to our boys’ superhero photoshoot. The first time I heard about “Environmental Portraits” was during the COVID lockdown and had offered their classes for free. I had taken the ‘Environmental Portraiture’ Featuring Joey Terrill’ ( ) course and was completely blown away with the concept, and thought that’s it! That’s what I want to do! I want to capture your portrait while capturing the essence of the environment as well.

And this was the first photoshoot where I incorporated this concept. Our boys were going through a superhero dress up stage and we were in lockdown in my parents’ building in downtown La Paz. Their building had like a still in construction area which I thought was the perfect set up for the superhero vibe.

I think studio photos are beautiful to capture a clean, zero noise which is what you need sometimes . But in my case, I love capturing and documenting the environment that is present at the present moment of your life and since then environmental portraits has become my passion.
