A Quiet Thread of Heritage in the Blooming Fields

There is a very specific kind of magic when traditional garments naturally blend with the raw landscape.

Shooting this frame from the ETNO Collection by Svetla Dimitrova's ARIES Unikat, I absolutely loved how the intense, vibrant red of the patterned scarf cuts straight through that soft sea of yellow spring flowers. Having Denitsa and Ivana interact so naturally brought a quiet, intimate energy to the composition, turning it from a standard fashion portrait into a genuine moment of shared heritage. Balancing the soft, diffused light on those delicate sheer fabrics and floral crowns while keeping the heavy, intricate textures of the traditional wear sharp is exactly what makes these cultural projects so addictive to shoot. It honestly feels less like a photoshoot and more like breathing life into an old Bulgarian folk tale.

The Royalty of Lake Kerkini

There is a very specific kind of quiet when you are out on the water, drifting right alongside these massive Dalmatian pelicans.

I absolutely love how the vibrant, bold red of the pouch cuts straight through all the cool, soft blues of the lake. Getting eye-level and freezing the sharp textures of those wild head feathers takes a lot of patience and some serious telephoto reach, but locking in on that intense, pale gaze makes hauling the heavy glass completely worth it. Despite their huge size, they glide across the surface with an effortless, silent grace that just completely commands the frame.

Winding Through The Red Giants of Belogradchik

There is something absolutely surreal about how this road just carves its way right past these towering, ancient formations.

Shooting the Belogradchik Rocks in late autumn completely changes the vibe of the place. I love how the sweeping curve of the empty asphalt acts as a natural leading line, pulling your eye straight into the heavy, rugged textures of the stone. The overcast sky really let those deep, rusty autumn tones in the forest pop, creating a perfect, moody contrast against the sheer, overwhelming scale of the rocks. It feels less like a typical scenic drive and more like navigating your way through a forgotten, prehistoric landscape.

Folding Reality Inside The Red Hoop

It is wild how the human body can just fold into these absolutely perfect shapes while hanging a few meters in the air.

Shooting this set of Pole Dance Bulgaria at Maimunarnika , I was completely mesmerized by the contrast in this exact frame. You have the intense, unbelievable core strength and flexibility required to lock into this split, yet her expression is completely serene making it look as effortless as breathing. I purposely framed her against that dark, heavy wooden backdrop so the sharp pop of the red lyra and the soft, sweeping fabric of her dress would really steal the show. It’s not just a performance, it is literally moving sculpture.

Rewriting the Rules of Gravity

There is a very specific kind of magic that happens when raw physical power is completely disguised as effortless elegance.

Looking back at this series from the Pole Dance Bulgaria showcase at Maimunarnika, I am still blown away by the control it takes to hang suspended above a crowd and make it look like second nature. It isn't just about athletic strength, it’s about capturing that exact split-second where the performer and the apparatus move as one, framed perfectly by the twilight and the heavy trees in the park. Freezing these fleeting, weightless moments in the air is an absolute rush to shoot.

If you want to experience this incredible energy live and see them completely own the stage, the crew is returning this summer for two massive themed nights. Seeing this in person is an absolute must:

A Timeless Drive Through Havana

There is a completely different rhythm to the streets of Havana the second you step away from the polished tourist squares.

I was wandering just behind the Capitolio and was completely blown away by the heavy, fading grandeur of these old facades. I absolutely love how the soft, overcast light pulls out the pastel tones in the peeling paint and highlights the raw, gritty texture of the wooden scaffolding holding up those crumbling balconies. When this classic blue car rolled quietly into the frame, it just tied the entire composition together perfectly. Shooting urban scenes here feels less like capturing a modern city and more like stepping onto a forgotten movie set where the clock just stopped decades ago.

The Towering Symmetry of Tran Quoc Pagoda

There is a completely different pace to life once you step onto the small island housing this temple.

While the rest of Hanoi is pure, unfiltered chaos, this place just forces you to slow down. I shot this from a much lower angle to really emphasize the vertical scale and the intricate brickwork against that crisp blue sky. I absolutely love how the natural light catches the curved edges of the roofs and highlights the bright white statues resting inside each alcove. It is a brilliant piece of historic architecture that stands as a quiet anchor right in the middle of West Lake.

A Silent Watcher in the Ancient Hills

There’s a silent, almost primal history that hangs over places like this.

I was exploring the area around Provertenika and found this perfect natural frame. Going black and white really stripped away the distractions and threw the focus entirely on that raw, ancient texture. The way the branches frame it makes it feel less like a landmark and more like an old secret waiting to be discovered. Hunting for specific, untamed spots that aren't on every tourist map is what makes this kind of exploration so rewarding.

Does anyone else get lost-world vibes from rock formations like this?

Bathed in Orange with The Lefties at Mixtape 5

There is a completely different kind of energy when a band really locks in with the front row.
Shooting The Lefties at Club Mixtape 5 , I absolutely loved how this heavy, warm spotlight cut right through the stage haze. Trying to balance the intense focus of the frontman with the immediate reaction of the crowd right at his feet is exactly what makes club gigs so addictive to shoot. It strips away all the massive arena production and just leaves you with this raw, intimate connection between the music and the room.
