It was back in the 80's... I still remember my father's small photo studio at home... The dark room where all the magic happened, all the negatives which were about to turn into photos, the special liquids and lots of other cool stuff... My father was a professional photographer for a few years - he took photos mostly on weddings or on some celebrations in schools or kinder-gardens. As years passe
d, my father quit his job as a photographer and all his equipment stayed in the cupboard... To be honest, I never thought at that time that one day I actually might be really passionate about photography. I was so much into dancing/and still am/ that I was kind of shut to this amazing art of light... I'm truly convinced that I've inherited somehow my father's talent and passion about photography. So, my interest in photography started in the end of 2007 when I got my first phone with a camera on it. It was amazing for me to be able to make photos and see them instantly on my phone , without giving them first to the photo studio and waiting for few hours to see the results(like it was back in the days when we all had those old cameras that were operating with films). Then around 2009 my dad got a digital camera, so I was kind of borrowing it once in a while to make photos and experimenting with all the different settings on it. I was making photos of almost everything: nature, animals, random objects in my apartment... :) All this interest of mine caused the purchase of my first professional camera - Nikon D3000 :) It was 2010 and I got it thanks to my salary as a professional dancer in a hotel resort in Bulgaria. I was so excited and happy! So many new and cool settings! I was making photos literally every single day. Made also one of my first model photo shoots. In 2011 I bought my Nikon D3100, again with my salary as a dancer :) The plus was that it could've make video as well. With this camera of mine and the 18-55mm lens on it, I took enormous amount of photos throughout the years till February 2014 when I bought Nikon D5100 with a 35mm lens :) So at the moment my whole photography equipment is this camera with two lenses - one is that I already mentioned and the other one is the 18-105mm; a flash Yugnuo, few umbrellas, stands and a reflector. I'll stop now describing all my photography stuff and say how thankful I am in first place to be blessed with the talent to be a dancer. Without that, buying all that equipment would've been such a difficult and really long process as well... So, bottom line: All the photos here are available for sale, so if you have interest in buying some of them, or you want a photo shoot, you can contact me here or on my e-mail: [email protected]
