Jose with his adoptive mother during a walk in the forest. I asked her how it all started.

"Since I was alone, I wanted to do something with my life, and I said to myself I was going to adopt a child. I got in touch with a social worker. Jose was in a daycare center. I went to visit the center and entered a large room full of children, and Jose was at the far end. When he saw me, he ran towards me, he jumped on me like a monkey, he really grabbed me, and we've been inseparable ever since."
