🇺🇸 A privileged look behind the scenes at Henri-Chapelle 🇧🇪
On October 2, 2026, 2 Stream had the privilege of providing the livestreaming and digital distribution for the ceremony at the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery in Belgium, working alongside our partner Auvicom, who handled the on-site audiovisual production.
But some of the most memorable moments happened away from the public ceremony.
Our cameras were also present inside the private VIP gathering, where press was not admitted, giving us the opportunity to capture a series of very personal speeches and testimonies.
We heard from U.S. Ambassador Bill White, Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever, Georges-Louis Bouchez and Helen Ayer Patton granddaughter of General George S. Patton Jr., as well as from the three remarkable American World War II veterans who were honored that day:
🇺🇸 Frank Stellar — 102 years old
🇺🇸 Truman Christian — 101 years old
🇺🇸 Russell Sattazahn — 100 years old
Listening to these three men speak in their own words, more than 80 years after their generation helped liberate Europe, was an extraordinary encounter with living history.
Helen Ayer Patton brought another deeply personal connection to that history, as the granddaughter of General Patton and through her close ties with the remembrance of the Battle of the Bulge and the 101st Airborne Museum in Bastogne.
🎥 2 Stream was uniquely positioned to capture these moments inside the VIP gathering, and we are pleased to share some of this exceptional footage.
For us, this assignment was about much more than delivering a live signal to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other destinations.
Together with Auvicom, it was about using audiovisual technology to capture, preserve and share stories that deserve to be remembered.
We are grateful to have been entrusted with that responsibility.
🇺🇸🤝🇧🇪 Honoring the past. Preserving its stories for the future.
