For My Mother
A year has passed since you left this world, but your presence is still everywhere — in the quiet moments, in the warmth of sunlight, in the kindness I try to carry forward.
They say time heals all wounds, but I believe some loves never fade — they simply become a part of who we are. Your love shaped me. Your courage, your laughter, your quiet strength — they live on, not just in memory, but in the rhythm of my every day.
Losing you showed me that grief is not just about missing someone — it's about how deeply they are woven into your life. There is sadness, yes, but also so much gratitude. To have had a mother like you is a gift beyond words.
To anyone reading this who has lost someone they love — may you carry their light with you. Let love be the memory that never leaves.
