De beste ( ) zouden te vinden zijn op de van (meer in detail ga ik de discussie niet aangaan 🙃).

Met deze long exposure komen zowel de blauwe, rode als groene tinten goed door, overgoten door een zweem van geel kunstlicht. Alsof de politiek ermee gemoeid is.

Since my return from South Africa, I have not posted a single image yet. It has been so busy that I feel as exhausted as this little fella right now.

Scops owls are the smallest owls in Southern Africa. They are entirely nocturnal, spending their days hidden in trees and relying on their extraordinary camouflage. One needs sharp eyes to spot a scops owl roosting during day.

In a few weeks I will be off to Africa again. Looking forward to guiding a group of young enthusiastic people. A little throwback to a previous Uganda trip where and I encountered this rather rare dark chanting goshawk.
Since I prefer photos where animals are seen in their habitat, I am considering not to take a heavy telelens. However, looking at pics like this, FOMO strikes.
What do you think about my backpack? Heavy duty or less is more?
