Wow!! Already in Paris... That went by in the blink of an eye...

Now it’s time to wind down and reflect on the last 3 weeks. The Tour is the biggest yearly returning sporting event, and an absolute privilege to work between these athletes and all these great colleagues. 2 years ago I covered the Olympic Games in the same beautiful city as where we finished the Tour yesterday, and just like 2 years ago, I’ve got to be honest: I’m still looking for that one money shot. The image that tells everything and has everything in it. Maybe I’ll never shoot it during my career, but the quest towards that “perfect” shot is what keeps driving me. For now we’ll be heading back to Belgium and off for some holidays. Congrats to all the happy faces on yesterday’s Champs Élysées! See you next time! Enjoy the images

Big thanks to for this great experience once again.

My shot on the cover of L'Équipe . Really happy and proud of that one.

The last 3 days in the Alps. By far my favourite place to be. Every time I see these mountains my heart fills with joy and admiration. Something so big and so powerful. It reminds you how small we really are. Covering the race between them is just a privilege.

Stage 19 was the one. Went up with the moto on my favourite climb, the Alpe d’Huez, with Tadej Pogačar taking the win up there. That is where the cover shot happened.

Enjoyed every single minute up here. Now ready for one more. Final stage in Paris.

Swipe through for a carousel of the last 3 days in these beautiful mountains. 📸 Gregory Van Gansen for Photo News

.ev aka the Aerobullet strikes again!

Different day for me. No finish to cover since was taking care of that. Also No moto to get on the course so I walked my way up the course. 15k steps today to find my spot. Took my time and picked a place with the view over Lac Leman with the fans over there. Worth it.

Remco Evenepoel takes stage 15 at Plateau de Solaison 🏆

I have been lucky to be there for a lot of his big moments. His first pro victory in the Baloise Belgium Tour. The Olympics. Liège-Bastogne-Liège. And now this one.

So this win is a bit special for me too. You follow a rider through the years and moments like these mean something.

Chapeau Remco! Happy to be there along the way .ev

Stage 14 of the Tour de France yesterday. Shot the whole day through the Vosges up to Le Markstein.

We had all 4 seasons in one day 🌦️🌧️☀️ Sun, rain, wind and back to sun. Wild conditions to shoot in but that is exactly what makes a day like this.

in yellow, Evenepoel right there with him. And the crowds were just amazing. Roaring on every corner, all the way up.

Days like this are why I love shooting bike racing.

Great to be back in the biggest cycling race in the world 🤟. Looking forward to the next 1,5 week. 📸 for

What.A. Race 🤩 in one word: EPIC!

This was one for the books for me as a photographer. A day filled with sunshine, action and epic racing from start to finish. What else could you possibly whish for?

Working with some great colleagues ( ) on my home town roads leaved me with a really satisfied feeling when I opened my laptop in the evening beside the 150 images I sent live during the race, there were about 7K ( yes!! 7 thousand) waiting to be reviewed. To be honest I think I shot a bit too much. But this race just asks to go some extra Miles.

Will be posting some more images in the coming days. Special thanks to .boone for driving me around safely 🏍️.
See you next year!

in front of the lens 📷

I love how primes force me to commit and work the scene differently. That compression, that intimacy, that’s what makes a portrait feel like a portrait. Whenever I pick up a zoom I tend to go too wide and I just lose that.

For this shoot I went straight for my all time favorite: The Nikon Plena. The bokeh is just on another level and it draws all the attention to the person in front of you. The 50mm 1.2 is up there too as one of my favourites, but for this one the Plena was the right call.

Shot Emilie recently for at the Roularta Media HQ in Brussels. She was really fun and natural in front of the camera, that always makes the difference.
