Imagine me saying yes to shooting your after wedding portraits in a place that’s absolutely meaningful to you and holds such a deep place in your hearts. Some days everything comes just together. Like this day with the sweetest Rény Dechief & Dwight Lanneau - The perfect blend of so many of the things I absolutely adore: mystical atmospheres, beautiful colour schemes, natural forces, nostalgic feels and beautiful composition. Aaahhhhhh. Life is just so so beautiful.

The moments we’ll remember from weddings aren’t perfectly posed. The way your friends lose themselves on the dancefloor. The squeeze of a hand when nobody’s watching. The laughter that wasn’t planned. The hugs that lasted a little longer. I believe the most beautiful weddings happen when people feel safe enough to be themselves. That’s why I’m drawn to authentic stories, genuine connections and the emotions that can’t be directed. Memories are about preserving the feeling of being surrounded by the people you love the most. Years from now, let’s remember how it felt rather than how everything looked.

After more than 13 years in the wedding industry, you might think weddings would start to feel repetitive. And in some ways, certain moments are familiar. But what continues to inspire me is everything around them; the places, the atmosphere, the people, the stories, and the incredible environments where these celebrations unfold.
This job has taken me into spaces I never would have discovered otherwise, and each one brings a new perspective, a new feeling, and a fresh source of creativity. It’s a reminder that while weddings may share a common purpose, no two experiences are ever truly the same. Still inspired. Still discovering.

There’s only this one moment to create an unforgettable event for your close relationships. Make sure you make it one to remember. The more personality, the better. Be authentic and make decisions based on your personal taste and vision, not because you saw something on IG that looked “cool”. Weddings aren’t supposed to be cool, they are supposed to feel authentic and real.

Not every wedding photo has to be “perfectly candid” to feel real. Some of the most emotional images are gently guided with movement, connection, and space for personality to unfold naturally.
A hand placed softly on the waist. A funny comment to provoke an emotion. Looking at each other instead of the camera. Tiny prompts over stiff instructions.
The magic happens when posing becomes direction, guidance, never a performance. I use techniques that create interaction rather than imitation; movement-based posing, layered composition, natural touchpoints, longer lenses for intimacy, and enough silence for real moments to breathe.
Because your wedding photos shouldn’t just *look* beautiful. They should still feel like *you* years later.

These “walk in the park” type of family sessions allow children to explore and be themselves while capturing natural moments and authentic connections. 🙏🏻
Besides that little reminder; always a pleasure seeing these ones back and reliving memories back from their engagement session and wedding day back in 2018. Time flies when you’re having fun! And love only multiplies and grows deeper through time and space.
