Jullie trouw is één de belangrijkste dagen van jullie leven en dat neem ik helemaal ter harte. Voor een goede samenwerking is een duidelijke 'click' nodig, als beide partijen zich goed voelen gaat dat zich weerspiegelen in super foto's. Ik ben de hele dag aanwezig op jullie trouw maar naar mij moeten jullie niet kijken. Mijn stijl is onopvallend en ga me meer mengen tussen de gasten, ik maak een f

otografische documentaire van jullie dag. Maar ik weet op de juiste momenten jullie als koppel wat tips te geven voor tijdens een shoot en zal er voor zorgen dat elke nonkel en tantes ogen open zijn op de groepsfoto!

A warm evening late spring in Mallorca. A warm hum of chatter while everybody enjoys their meals. Elizabeth gets up to say hello to some of her friends I was standing behind the impressive curtain of fairy.A happy little accident of an image. There were too many little lights in the way to focus on her but captures that little moment in time 100%.Why it does not have to be in focus, coincidently a lovely book for photographers or those who love visual imagery.

I have been looking more at curating my instagram feed & posts. I've always found that a difficult thing to do. But here goes anyway. The emphasis, is and will be weddings but not always showing all the obvious moments and things in weddings. But trying to show the atmosphere of what I like in weddings. I hope you enjoy it too...

This little moment. A warm and sunny day, an intimate ceremony on the beach. Along the Atlantic Ocean. Kind of perfect. It was relaxed, but the emotions & sorties that were being told could be felt like a warm blanket & a hot chocolate. .A little moment between the bride’s parents, you can tell the mum is saying something very special. The dad acknowledges with a soft smile and a slight nod of his head. Love it.

Ruben probably the most laid back groom of this year. Nerves: non existent. Good sense of humor and caring husband: very existent. Beautiful late summer wedding. The venue and colours were perfect. Lot's to share from Isolde & Ruben's wedding but this picture set the tone for the start of the festivities!.

Autumn weddings, are maybe my favourite because the light is at it's best. I know a good golden hour in the summer is hard to beat but in October it's good all day.Beautiful day, and fantastic people. Olivier & Manon it was a pleasure!

Luck favours the prepared or just plain lucky, some pictures are unexpected, you couldn't make them up. I was hovering around Annemie to get a nice detail shot of her veil. But there were loads of hugs going on because the ceremony had just finished. So the camera was ready to shoot but I was not expecting her to turn around, neither was she I think (we were both definitely very surprised to see each other). The eye focus didn't have the time to catch on. And It's good it didn't.

Ceara & Alexis bathing in the softening and setting sunlight.It's funny becasue at most wedding (coincidently not at this one) there is usually a guest who is into photography, let's call them uncle/aunty Bob or just some random other curious soul. That usually says something along the lines of: aren't you not supposed to shoot with back light (aka not into the direction of the sun)? Well I beg to differ quite often, with the pictures being an example.
Food for thought: when's the last time you saw a movie scene that isn't back or side lit?

For the non photo geeks. This wedding was such a great day. I have some many pictures to share from it but don't know where to start. There's a little story in the highlights of my feed and will probably share a lot more pictures from this wedding cause on that day things just really clicked. Pun shamelessly intended.
