From Yangshuo to Belgium – A Shift in Perspective
After an unforgettable month in Yangshuo and China, we began the long 26-hour journey back home to Belgium, together with my wife and kids. From the peaceful morning mist over the karst mountains to the buzzing airports and endless hours in the sky, the contrast couldn’t have been greater. What started as a family farewell to China slowly turned into a return to familiar streets, routines, and cooler air. It wasn’t just a physical journey — it was an emotional transition between two worlds we now call home.
