My elopement would be a multi-day celebration! One day is just not enough to celebrate love, haha. It would start with a multi-day hike, hiking from mountain shelter to mountain shelter with my love & my photographer. On the morning of our last day we would go out for sunrise on the mountain, get ready together in the open air & say our vows to one another, followed by a coffee and a little breakfast. After that we would walk down to a quaint little town and have a picnic on a meadow close to the beach or a river, so we can hear the sound of the water – maybe some reading to catch our breath from the last couple of days hiking in the mountains. After that we would go for a horse ride, do some galloping with windswept hair & happy screams, enjoying the freedom of life. At sunset we would meet up with our closest friends and family at a cute little holiday house and have a BBQ by the lake, making dinner together, and close off our day with a campfire and games. The next day we would all have breakfast together and just spend the rest of the day together: swimming, reading, eating, walking, kayaking - just doing whatever we like.

I’m still not sure what country I would choose to elope in. I’m doubting between Scotland, Norway or Sweden. The Faroe islands are tempting, but for some reason it’s not the vibe that I want to go for. To be honest I think I would go for Norway or Sweden because I just love the whole vibe from those countries. Especially in summer.
