Honored to share that my series Animalia Humanitas has received a Platinum award at the London Photography Awards.

Within the awards, there are three distinction levels - Silver, Gold and Platinum - with Platinum being the highest level of recognition awarded by the jury.

Animalia Humanitas explores the fragile boundary between human and animal, identity and instinct, beauty and discomfort. Through these portraits, I wanted to create images that feel both familiar and unsettling, questioning where one species ends and the other begins.

Grateful to the jury for recognizing this work, and thankful to everyone who continues to support my personal projects and artistic experiments along the way.

Blij en trots dat ik hier deel van mag uitmaken! 🙌

Van 1 juni t.e.m. 31 augustus 2026 strijkt SPOOR opnieuw neer langs de Groene 62 met een gratis openluchttentoonstelling.

Tussen Torhout, Ichtegem, Gistel en Oudenburg ontdek je werk van zo’n 30 kunstenaars. Al wandelend of fietsend kom je installaties tegen die in dialoog gaan met het landschap, de geschiedenis en de omgeving van de oude spoorlijn.
Geen klassieke expo, maar een beleving: kunst op onverwachte plekken, op jouw tempo te ontdekken.

👀 Met welke foto ik deelneem?
Die moet je zelf komen zoeken onderweg.

Ik kan wel al verklappen: het is een werk waar ik bijzonder trots op ben — en dat nog nooit eerder te zien was. Speciaal gemaakt voor dit festival.

Nieuwe tentoonstelling!

Van 12 juni tot 30 augustus 2026 stel ik mijn reeks “Animalia Humanitas” tentoon in het Egmontpark in Gavere, ter gelegenheid van 60 jaar fotoclub GAFODI.

Een bijzondere eer om deel uit te maken van deze groepstentoonstelling, samen met enkele van de meest gerespecteerde namen uit de Belgische fotografie.

Ben je in de buurt deze zomer? Ga zeker eens kijken. Het park, de beelden en het verhaal maken het meer dan de moeite waard.

I just won the 8th place in the category “domesticated animals” at the FEP awards. Al absolute honour and nice to be here in Iceland to accept the price.
