Two weeks ago, I gifted myself a little last-minute escape to Kos. Â
Â
Not to work, not to create travel content with a full itinerary in mind, but simply to slow down and recharge.Â
Â
The past few months had been quite intense, and luckily Iâve learned to recognise the signs when my body tells me itâs time to take a break. So a spontaneous trip to Kos felt like exactly what I needed.Â
Â
A little thank you to my mum for joining me too, because the single supplement was almost the same price as the trip for two. So it only made sense to bring her along. đ
Â
For me, relaxing doesnât mean spending five days on a sunbed by the pool. It means discovering somewhere new, taking things at a slower pace, wandering through little villages, finding quiet beaches, enjoying long Greek lunches, and stopping whenever something catches my eye.Â
Â
Kos turned out to be the perfect destination for exactly that. Compact enough to explore in five days, yet diverse enough to surprise me every single day.Â
Â
Swipe to see some of my favorite moments and places from Kos... and yes, there will be cats involvedÂ
