Every year, I have the urge to organise a photoshoot including pumpkins 🎃🍂 And of course, this year was no exception. This time, we headed to a pumpkin patch with our family and set up a cute little pumpkin shop.

This maternity session took place in summer, but the colours of their outfits fit right in with my favourite season: autumn. 🍂🤎🍁

Warm oranges, rusty browns, earthy tones… my absolute favourite colour palette. And now that autumn is here, I’m seeing these beautiful shades everywhere around me.

Whether you’d like to create your own autumn vibe in the city centre of Brussels by choosing the right outfit, or head into nature surrounded by golden leaves, this is the perfect time of year for a photo session filled with warm, rich colours.

Planning a family photoshoot in Brussels during winter? Here's your reminder that you don't need a green park to get beautiful family photos.

The historic city centre offers stunning architecture, cobbled streets, charming façades and plenty of variety - even on those grey winter days when the trees are bare.

My tip when photographing young children? Make the session part of a little adventure. Walk, explore, take breaks, and finish with something they love. In this case, waffles were the perfect reward.

A photoshoot that feels more like a family outing than a photoshoot? That's always a good place to start.

SWIPE TO TIME TRAVEL ✨

One moment, I’m photographing this family all together: a newborn baby, a proud big brother, and parents soaking in those first chaotic, beautiful weeks.

Then suddenly, in what feels like the blink of an eye, they’re back to celebrate their youngest' first birthday.

A whole year somehow fits between those two sessions:
new routines, bigger giggles, endless milestones…

Watching families grow like this will never stop feeling a little magical to me.

Would you like to include your dog in your family photos? Bring them over 🐾

Some dogs arrive like little professional models. Others steal snacks, run through the frame, and somehow still become the main character of the gallery.

For outdoor sessions, your dog is always welcome. Studio sessions depend a little more on the dog, and whether they can resist turning my studio into their personal playground 😅

Either way, pets are family too, and I love when photos reflect real life, muddy paws included.

Why choose when you can have both?

Before your session, I’ll ask about your preferences and prepare the studio accordingly. During every newborn session, we usually create at least 3 different set-ups — sometimes even more, as I always keep a few backup ideas ready.

But in the end, the real boss of the session is always the baby 🤍
We follow your little one’s rhythm every step of the way.
