🇺🇦 Memory Obliges – Public Manifestation in Brussels

On Sunday, 22 February 2026, the Ukrainian civil society organization Promote Ukraine, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium, will organize the public manifestation “Memory Obliges”, marking four years since the russian military aggression against Ukraine.

On 24 February 2026, four years will have passed since Ukraine began resisting the russian military aggression. What was intended to last only a few days has become years of sustained resistance – by the Ukrainian people, supported by partners and friends across the world.

The public manifestation “Memory Obliges” is a moment of remembrance and solidarity. It is an opportunity to express gratitude for the support already provided and to reaffirm the continued importance of standing with Ukraine at a critical moment.

З перших днів російської агресії у 2014 році й особливо після початку повномасштабного вторгнення росії мільйони українців об’єдналися задля захисту своєї країни та підтримки наших Збройних Сил 🇺🇦

Щоденні зусилля волонтерів, небайдужих людей і громад, є надзвичайно цінними для українських військових, родин, яким довелося покинути рідні домівки через російську агресію, дітей, які втратили рідних. Кожен внесок – від найменшого до великого – є частиною спільної боротьби за майбутнє України.

Сьогодні, у Міжнародний день волонтера, ми висловлюємо глибоку подяку всім, хто підтримує наших воїнів та нашу країну. Дякуємо всім, хто бореться та допомагає. Слава Україні!

Питання територій, гарантій безпеки від партнерів, а також фінансування відновлення України, зокрема за рахунок заморожених активів РФ, є найскладнішими в рамках перемовин щодо миру, заявив Володимир Зеленський на пресконференції з Еммануелем Макроном.

💬 "Щодо питань різного характеру, різних областей територіальних, розмова була 6,5 години тільки щодо відповідних таких пунктів", - зазначив він, коментуючи зустріч між представниками України і США у Флориді.

Президент України також повідомив, що у вівторок планує зустрітися з представниками української делегації, що були на переговорах в Ірландії, щоб отримати повний звіт про перемовини.

Раніше західні ЗМІ повідомляли, що в Ірландії Зеленський може провести зустріч із Стівом Віткоффом, який прямуватиме до Москви.

Do you confirm the Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine?

This was the single question on the ballot during the nationwide referendum on 1 December 1991 – 34 years ago. More than 90% of Ukrainians said “yes” to an independent Ukrainian state.

Crucially, every region supported independence, from Donetsk to Lviv, from Kyiv to Yalta. It was a powerful expression of unity, showing that the desire for a sovereign future was shared across the entire country.

The referendum not only confirmed Ukraine’s path but also accelerated the collapse of the Soviet Union. It demonstrated to the world that our independence was the clear and overwhelming will of the people – the independence we continue to defend today against Russia’s aggression.
