First result of an amazing weekend with some wonderful photography friends.

On this picture you see 3 months old Max, Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy, during his very fist photoshpoot.
And didn't he pose like he was born for it? 🥰

Salka strikes a pose as if he was born here. Calm on his rock, while curtains of water thunder down behind him.

Gljúfrabúi ("the one who lives in the gorge") is one of Iceland's most enchanting waterfalls, hidden behind a wall of moss-covered rock not far from the more famous Seljalandsfoss. Anyone willing to squeeze through the narrow canyon and cross the wet stones is rewarded with this scene: a secluded, half-covered cave where the water plunges some 40 meters down, filling the air with a fine mist. That very mist is what creates the magical backlight here, and gives Salka's coat its shine.

Primrose 🐾✨

Deze kleine dame poseerde alsof ze het nog nooit anders gedaan had. Die oortjes, die blik... precies op het juiste moment vastgelegd, in het mooie gouden avondlicht.

Foto's zoals deze ontstaan niet toevallig — het is een combinatie van geduld, het juiste licht en weten hoe je een puppy op haar gemak stelt voor de camera. Precies dat leer je tijdens een privé workshop!

Háifoss has to be one of my favorite waterfalls in Iceland to shoot at. Standing around 122 meters tall, it's one of the country's most powerful falls, and the raw energy of the water crashing through that dark canyon makes for an incredible backdrop for a shoot.

This gorgeous German Shepherd was an amazing model for the day — steady, calm, and completely unfazed by the mist and roar of the water. Getting that perfect stance, ears up, gazing toward the falls, with the warm canyon light hitting the rock behind her... moments like this are exactly why I love combining dog photography with Iceland's wild landscapes.
