Yes... I'm still alive!!! Some very busy months, followed some photography courses (mainly on people photography though 😅), so a lot of effort is going to that. Probably one of the must-do's when in Lofoten: a sea eagle safari. I have to admit, it took me quite a while to get a good shot of the sea eagle catching the fish, but in the end (I think) I managed!

When you say Lofoten, you say fish. Fish is caught and dried on racks (but not in August when we were there 😂). Luckily at a small museum in A, there was this showcased.

Let's move to Norway... Lofoten islands in August. Very nice sunny weather, ideal for some hiking some of the (very steep) mountains over there and seeing beautiful fjords, nature and landscapes.

Count the elephants. At Elephant Sands there were plenty of elephants (that's a lot of elephants in just 2 sentences 🙈) around the watering hole. These ones got really close to each other and gave me the opportunity to create this (almost perfectly symmetric shot)

When it's time for a anp 😴😴😴 These 2 young lions were enjoying some shade and a little siesta while all the safari tourists were passing by and capturing them. The good cat life I guess? 😉

In August I went to Lofoten Islands, Norway for a week. We had some amazin sunsets, like this one, reflecting in the lake. This was a view from our hotel room in Skarungen. Are you a sunrise or sunset lover?

We also saw a bunch of buffaloes in the water looking for some refreshment. Did I mention I will have to go back some day as we did not see a leopard... meaning I can't tick off all of the Big Five from my list 😉

Perfect posing during a sunset. I still can't believe how lucky we were on the photography excursion earlier this year in Chobe National Park where this elephant decided to pose in the water with the sun setting in the background 🥰🥰🥰

After already sharing some quick edits on smartphone, I have now (finally!!!) managed to work my way through the pictures of my Africa trip that is already 3 months ago. We spotted so many animals (but not all of the big five... will need to go back to find a leopard somewhere). Here's a giraffe about to start drinking at the Chobe river while we were on a boat. These animals are soooo elegant, really love capturing them 🥰

Today is world elephant day so what better to post than a picture of an elephant? This was taken on the Chobe river in Botswana where we found an elephant between the lilies
