Pay attention to the ideas that excite you before your brain starts explaining why they’re not for you. Then take one tiny, real-life step: ask a person knows about it, send the message, research it, show up. And let reality answer the possibility, instead of your assumptions and non-action. You’d be surprised how many doors open once you stop thinking about the idea and actually start testing it.

Honestly, this is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done.

About two months ago, I had this random thought: I really love this artist’s work… what if I just ask if he’d paint me?

So I asked.

He said yes.

I decided to go for it.

And now I have a portrait of myself hanging in my home.

I’m still wrapping my head around that.

The funny thing is… I only realized afterwards that somewhere in my head, I believed this wasn’t for people like me.

Like… people like me don’t get portraits painted.

Turns out they do.

And man… this painting has made me feel things I didn’t even know I could feel.

Every time I walk past it, I smile.

I’m really glad I did it.

It also made me realize that I want to do more bucket-list things while there’s no urgency.

I don’t think we need more content. Because not everyone has to become a content creator. I think we’re often missing the confidence to be ourselves unapologetically. And filming yourself is a cheat code. It also costs 0.00€. But because I started noticing how many insecurities were hiding behind a camera: The fear of being seen. The overthinking. The people-pleasing. The constant self-judgment.

For me, filming myself became so much more than creating content. It became a mirror and growth accelerator. #
