The perfect script.

Frankfurt Mainova Marathon. My first 42.2. 3:00:45 official race time. 2:58:39 on the marathon distance according to Strava. 
All of it through wind and rain for most of the way. Not the conditions you dream of, but it made the finish feel even better.

First roll of film got back from the lab. It’s like opening a pack of Pokemon cards for the first time.

First roll of film from the Dolomites came back ⛰️

I must admit, I really enjoyed working with film. It makes you be more aware when taking photographs.

These were taken on my grandfather’s Yashica Minister with Kodak 200 Gold rolls. Already got in mind which next film camera I’m buying. Guess away!

Ten days in the Dolomites and I didn’t take my camera out once.

Every frame here is an iPhone. Shot in Apple RAW, one preset in Lightroom, no masks, no crops, nothing local. The hiking was the point, so the phone was the camera that stayed in my hand.

I’ve been told for years that phone files fall apart in the edit. These didn’t.
