প্রতি হেমন্ত শেষে সেই শীত আসে, মানুষ আর সেই থাকে না।

বছর শেষের চড়ুইভাতির দলে বিশাল বদল আসে,
ব্যাডমিন্টন এর কোর্ট জুরে পায়ের ছাপ পালটায় যায়,
ভাপা কেনার লাইন কমতে থাকে,
মুখ দিয়ে ধোয়া বের করার প্রতিযোগিতা মাতে নতুন সব কন্ঠস্বরে,
ফজর এশা শেষে কুয়াশামাখা চাদরে আগুনে তাপ পোয়ানোর আড্ডায় আসে নতুন মুখ, নতুন সব গল্প,
শীত শেষ হয়, বসন্ত আসে। বছর শুরু হয়ে আবার শেষ হয়ে আসে!

ফিরে আসে চিরচেনা সেই শীত, মানুষ আর সেই থাকে না!
