ভীমরুল, বোলতা ও মৌমাছি একই ধরনের পতঙ্গ। এরা কামড়ের সাথে সাথে হুল ফোটায়। ভিমরুলের কামড়ে অসহনীয় ব্যথা হয়, আক্রান্ত স্থান ফুলে যায়, গায়ে জ্বরও আসে।
প্রতিবিধান-
১. হুল বের করে নিন
২.হুল ফোটানোর জায়গাটিতে বরফের টুকরো চেপে ধরুন।
৩. এবার আক্রান্ত স্থানে এন্টিবায়োটিক ক্রীম লাগান। যেমন- স্যাভলন ক্রীম
৪. এন্টিহিসটামিন ওষুধ খেতে হবে
৫. ব্যথার জন্য প্যারাসিটামল ওষুধ খেলেই হবে
৬. অনেকের মাথাব্যথা, বমি, শ্বাসকষ্ট, সমস্ত শরীর চুলকানো, গায়ে চাকা চাকা হয়ে ওঠা বা শরীর ফুলে যাওয়া, পেটে তীব্র ব্যথা প্রভৃতি উপসর্গ দেখা দেয়; এসব ক্ষেত্রে রোগীকে দ্রুত চিকিৎসকের নিকট বা হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যেতে হবে।
