বেলার কেড়েছে গতি,
রোদ্দুর আজ না হয়
নিলো ক্ষনিকের বিরতি।

ঝমঝমিয়ে বৃষ্টি আসে,
দাঁড়িয়ে আছি তোমার পাশে,
তোমার সাথে ভিজছি বেশ
এ যেন এক নতুন আবেশ।

গোধূলি বেলায় মেঘলা আকাশ
স্বপ্ন দেখি;তপ্ত মরুর বুকে,
জীবনের সমীকরণ পারিনি মেলাতে
আজ বিষণ্ণতার ঝোঁকে।

রঙিন দিনগুলো হারিয়ে গেছে
অবহেলায় জীবনের বাঁকে,
ফিরে যেতে হবে একাকি;
নিরব নির্জন সীমাহীন অনন্তে।
