✨ Lift Your Mind High: Beyond Desire, Beyond Suffering ✨

Khun Yai once taught:

> “Lift your mind higher, and you will see that sensual desire is suffering.”

Most people in the world cannot see this truth because their hearts are still immersed in craving.
But if we train our minds to rise above the ordinary—free from indulgence in sensual pleasures—we will clearly see that such desires are lowly things, pulling us down rather than lifting us up.

The Buddha said:

> “One whose mind is firmly established in Dhamma is unshaken by pleasure or pain.”

When our minds rest high above attachment, we will discover true peace and draw closer to Nirvana.

Spreading the teaching of “lifting the mind high” is a great merit.
It not only awakens others from delusion but also points them toward liberation.
Those who hear and practice it reduce their suffering, increase their peace, and help create a society filled with compassion and wisdom.

Thus, when we share this teaching with the whole world, it is as if we are helping lift the hearts of humanity together—and such merit will return to us beyond measure.

Accumulating Goodness – The Path to Liberation and a Better World

The Dhamma teachings of Khun Yai on May 5th, 1980, serve as a profound reminder of the power of consistently accumulating goodness, little by little. Even if those small acts of virtue go unnoticed by the world, when done with a pure heart and unwavering intent, they gradually build up and shine forth on their own—without the need for praise or recognition.

This wisdom aligns with the Buddha’s words in the Dhammapada:

> “Kataṁ hoti kata-p-pasatthaṁ – A good deed that has been done brings benefit to the doer.”
(Dhammapada verse 240)

Though others may not see it right away, and society may not reward it immediately, the results of good karma are certain to arise in due time. When good deeds are performed without greed or craving for fame, they radiate naturally and bring peace not only to the doer but also to the world around them.

Many people do good briefly, and when results don’t appear instantly, they lose faith and complain. It’s like planting a seed and expecting fruit the next day. But Khun Yai taught through her own example: build merit throughout your life with patience and perseverance. When the time is right, the fruit of virtue ripens, and joy arises from within—a joy that comes from pure victories and wholesome accomplishments. That is why she carried no sense of inferiority in her heart.

Why must this teaching be shared with the world?

In today’s fast-paced society, people often seek quick results and grow disheartened when things don’t go their way. These teachings—of the Buddha and of Khun Yai—serve as a beacon to remind us of a deeper truth: that building virtue with steady, sincere effort is the way to real and lasting peace. Not just for ourselves, but for the global community.

When such teachings are shared across cultures and continents, they become a universal language of goodness. Whether one is Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, or of any belief, the heart understands virtue. And when more people live with that understanding, the world changes—slowly but surely—toward harmony.

Because we are all born to build virtue, now is the time to carry Khun Yai’s spirit—the very spirit of all Bodhisattvas—into the world, to help every being find their path to freedom and liberation.
