Not From Europe. Not Imported. This Is Bangladesh. 🇧🇩
This is not a fashion story from Europe or somewhere beyond our borders.
This is a research driven creation by the students of Premier University, Department of Fashion Design & Technology developed right here in Bangladesh.
What began with a concern about the environmental impact of conventional fabric and colour production became a journey of research, experimentation, failure, and continuous development.
The students explored Kidswear Fashion through a more sustainable approach using 100% surplus fabric, developing natural colours from indigo leaf, turmeric and beetroot, creating a natural thickener from aloe vera, and experimenting with these elements to develop new shades for screen printing.
It is more than creating a garment.
It is about proving that meaningful fashion innovation does not always have to come from elsewhere. It can begin here with our own students, our own research, and our own creativity. 🇧🇩
