ভারতের ত্রিপুরায় অবস্থিত ড'ম্বু'র হাইড্রইলেক্ট্রিক পাওয়ার প্রজেক্ট বা ড'ম্বু:র গেট খুলে দেয়া হয়েছে কারণ ত্রিপুরাতে ব্যা'প'ক ব'র্ষ'ণ হয়েছে ফলে ব:ন্যা দেখা দিয়েছে। পানি কমার জন্য তারা ড'ম্বু'র গে'ট খুলে দিয়েছে যা সর্বশেষ ১৯৯৩ সালে খু'লে দিয়েছিলো।

বন্যার পানি কমে যাবে এমন আ'শা করবেন না। গেটটি খু'লে দেয়ার ফলে ফেনী, কুমিল্লা, নোয়াখালী জেলা সমূহ প্লাবিত হবার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে।।
