This old palace is located at the heart of the Muktagacha Upazila, 16km west to the Sadar Upazila. In the past it was known as Binodbari and it is believed that the Zamindars actually came from the Northern parts of Bengal. When the first ruler, Srikrishna Acharya, had arrived here, a local named Muktaram Kormokar welcomed him with a large brass lamp stand which the people of that timed referred to as Gachha. This sign of gratitude pleased the Zamindar and he in exchange had renamed the area as Muktagacha, using the names of both the inhabitant and the lamp.

Later on the ruler's sons and their inheritor conducted the Zamindari. The Owner of the Muktagacha Rajabari, Jogot Kishor Acharya who was the grandson of Srikrishna, and his ancestors started to build that Palace in the years 1750-60 which signifies that the structure is almost 300 yrs old.

However, this old house covers a vast area even though most of the structures are in very poor condition. With a few things being stolen by the locals, the other belongings had dilapidated with time. All in all the two storied iron & steel made house was all that was left to be observed as the floors are no longer present.

This photo doesn't have any special photographic techniques, rather a very simple touristy vibe. Yet, I am posting this as after 9 long months I went out on a vacation with my family. We usually go on tours every 2months so this outing felt like stepping out of the prison.

Another failed version of milky way photo. This was taken on the helipad in palace. To be honest, I was trembling with fear that day as the helipad was pretty secluded and no one was with me at the time. I was inside a five star resort with high security yet I had this constant fear of getting harmed. I hope one day bangladesh would be a safe place for every woman out there and we won't have constantly occurring panic attacks, expecting something bad to happen to us.

This has to be the most noisiest picture I took this year, but I will still upload it as this is my first ever chance of getting to see the milky way rather thoroughly in my trial photos. (I know this isn't very clear)
At 11:00 pm I noticed, as I looked through my window, that the night sky was pretty clear. So I rushed to my rooftop to get some neat shots and also a few complimentary mosquito bites.

This is the end result, with 21 pictures stacked and cropped, and yes this is very heavily edited.

Also, the brightest looking "star" is Jupiter and second brightest one on the left is saturn.

This was my very first milky way photo and I really do hope that I get better and upload more clearer pictures!

Moon phases from June to July.

I literally took 24 photos every single day. But then i realized i don't really need to use all of those photos to create this.

During the process of taking photos, my biggest enemy was the weather. Every single night it would rain, I would then have to wait the entire night for the sky to clear up and finally take a picture.

Ps: It might not be that good ;__; sowwy I'm no pro. Just trying out something new.
