R*a*p*e is a profound violation of human dignity, causing severe physical, psychological, and emotional harm, and it undermines the victim's right to bodily autonomy and a safe, dignified life.
In Islamic law, the punishment for ra*pe is stoning to d*eath and many other strict punishments .
• In many Muslim-majority countries, the de*ath penalty is used for r*ape.
What about Bangladesh?

Punishment for ra*pe
376. Whoever commits ra*pe shall be punished with 2[imprisonment] for life or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine, unless the woman r***d is his own wife and is not under twelve years of age, in which case he shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
We all know about the slow process of these judicial systems of Bangladesh.
Lets look at the other countries:
Saudi Arabia: Behea*ding within days
The punishment for r**e in Saudi Arabia is a public beheading after administering the ra**st with a sedative.
Pakistan: Dea*th sentence
Gang r**e, child molestation and r**e are punishable by death. An assault on a woman and intentional display of her body in public view is punishable by de*ath in Pakistan. Statutory ra*pe by a man of a girl under sixteen, especially a gang ra*pe, is punishable by dea*th.
China: De*ath sentence or castration
The sentence for r**e in China is de*ath. Castration is also used in some cases.
Japan: 20 years to life
Twenty years for the crime of ra*pe. If it is r**e or fatal r**e at the scene of any other crime like robbery, then death penalty.
North Korea: Death by firing squad
North Korea sentences ra**sts to death by firing squad.
Afghanistan: Shot in the head or hanged to death
Ra**sts in Afghanistan are shot in the head within 4 days or hanged to death depending on the judgement handed out by the court.
Egypt: Dea*th by hanging
Egypt is also one of the places that still follows the slightly outdated mode of death by hanging.
Iran: Hanged to death
Ra**sts in Iran are sentenced to death, sometimes by hanging but sometimes allegedly also by stoning.
USA: Imprisonment for life
The usual sentence for a convicted ra**st here depends on whether the trial falls under state or federal law. In cases under federal law, the punishments can range from a few years to imprisonment for the entirety of the ra**st's life span.
There should be some new punishment methods for r**es in Bangladesh according to its illiterate majority people and its Responsible Citizens :v
1. Ra**sts should be punished with in 4 hours - 36 hours after the report , publicly with all legal procedures done by the law .
2. Ra**st will be be punished to death " publicly " if he is proven guilty .
Ways of death : * cross fire , * stoned to death * hanged to death .
3. R**e cases has to be taken seriously by the Government and take actions immediately and publicly- " So no one would dare to even think of ra**ng in the future "
Depending on Bangladesh's illiterate majority and people - "fear" is the only way , this disgusting act can be stopped .

৩৭৬. যে কেউ ধর্ষণ করে তাকে ২ [কারাবাস] যাবজ্জীবন কারাদণ্ড অথবা দশ বছর পর্যন্ত যেকোনও মেয়াদের কারাদণ্ড এবং জরিমানাও করা যেতে পারে, যদি না ধর্ষিত মহিলা তার নিজের স্ত্রী হন এবং তার বয়স বারো বছরের কম না হয়, তবে সেক্ষেত্রে তাকে দুই বছর পর্যন্ত যেকোনও মেয়াদের কারাদণ্ড অথবা জরিমানা অথবা উভয় দণ্ডে দণ্ডিত করা হবে।
আমরা সকলেই বাংলাদেশের এই বিচার ব্যবস্থার ধীর প্রক্রিয়া সম্পর্কে জানি।
অন্যান্য দেশগুলোর দিকে তাকানো যাক:
পাকিস্তান: মৃত্যুদণ্ড
দলবদ্ধ ধর্ষণ, শিশু নির্যাতন এবং ধর্ষণ মৃত্যুদণ্ডে দণ্ডনীয়। কোনও মহিলার উপর আক্রমণ এবং জনসমক্ষে ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে তার দেহ প্রদর্শন পাকিস্তানে মৃত্যুদণ্ডে দণ্ডনীয়। ষোল বছরের কম বয়সী কোনও মেয়েকে পুরুষ কর্তৃক ধর্ষণ, বিশেষ করে গণধর্ষণ, মৃত্যুদণ্ডে দণ্ডনীয়।
চীন: মৃত্যুদণ্ড বা খোজাকরণ
চীনে ধর্ষণের শাস্তি মৃত্যুদণ্ড। কিছু ক্ষেত্রে ক্যাস্ট্রেশন ( যে কোন ক্রিয়া, অস্ত্রোপচার , রাসায়নিক বা অন্যথায়, যার দ্বারা একজন পুরুষ অন্ডকোষের ব্যবহার হারায়: পুরুষ গোনাড । অস্ত্রোপচারের ক্যাস্ট্রেশন হল দ্বিপাক্ষিক অর্কিয়েক্টমি (উভয় অণ্ডকোষের ছেদন) ব্যবহৃত হয়।)
জাপান: ২০ বছর থেকে যাবজ্জীবন
ধর্ষণের অপরাধের জন্য বিশ বছর। যদি এটি ধর্ষণ বা ডাকাতির মতো অন্য কোনও অপরাধের ঘটনাস্থলে মারাত্মক ধর্ষণ হয়, তাহলে মৃত্যুদণ্ড।
সৌদি আরব: কয়েক দিনের মধ্যে শিরশ্ছেদ
সৌদি আরবে ধর্ষণের শাস্তি হল ধর্ষককে ঘুমের ওষুধ খাওয়ানোর পর জনসমক্ষে শিরশ্ছেদ করা।
উত্তর কোরিয়া: ফায়ারিং স্কোয়াড দ্বারা মৃত্যুদণ্ড
উত্তর কোরিয়া ধর্ষকদের ফায়ারিং স্কোয়াড দ্বারা মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেয়।
আফগানিস্তান: মাথায় গুলি করে অথবা ফাঁসিতে ঝুলিয়ে মৃত্যুদণ্ড
আফগানিস্তানে ধর্ষকদের আদালতের রায়ের উপর নির্ভর করে ৪ দিনের মধ্যে মাথায় গুলি করে অথবা ফাঁসিতে ঝুলিয়ে মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেওয়া হয়।
মিশর: ফাঁসিতে ঝুলিয়ে মৃত্যুদণ্ড
মিশরও এমন একটি দেশ যেখানে এখনও ফাঁসিতে ঝুলিয়ে মৃত্যুদণ্ডের সামান্য পুরনো পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করা হয়।
ইরান: ফাঁসিতে ঝুলিয়ে মৃত্যুদণ্ড
ইরানে ধর্ষকদের মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেওয়া হয়, কখনও কখনও ফাঁসিতে ঝুলিয়ে কিন্তু কখনও কখনও পাথর ছুঁড়েও হত্যা করা হয় বলে অভিযোগ।
মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্র: যাবজ্জীবন কারাদণ্ড
এখানে দোষী সাব্যস্ত ধর্ষকের স্বাভাবিক সাজা নির্ভর করে বিচারটি রাজ্য বা ফেডারেল আইনের অধীনে পড়ে কিনা তার উপর। ফেডারেল আইনের অধীনে মামলায়, শাস্তি কয়েক বছর থেকে শুরু করে ধর্ষকের পুরো জীবনকাল পর্যন্ত কারাদণ্ড হতে পারে।
বাংলাদেশে নিরক্ষর সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ জনগণ এবং এর দায়িত্বশীল নাগরিকদের মতে ধর্ষণের জন্য কিছু নতুন শাস্তির পদ্ধতি থাকা উচিত :v
১. প্রতিবেদন প্রকাশের ৪ ঘন্টা - ৩৬ ঘন্টার মধ্যে আইন অনুসারে সমস্ত আইনি প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন করে প্রকাশ্যে ধর্ষকদের শাস্তি দেওয়া উচিত।
২. ধর্ষক দোষী প্রমাণিত হলে তাকে "প্রকাশ্যে" মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেওয়া হবে।
মৃত্যুর ধরণ: * ক্রস ফায়ার, * পাথর ছুঁড়ে হত্যা * ফাঁসিতে ঝুলিয়ে মৃত্যুদণ্ড।
৩. ধর্ষণের ঘটনাগুলিকে সরকারকে গুরুত্ব সহকারে নিতে হবে এবং অবিলম্বে এবং প্রকাশ্যে ব্যবস্থা নিতে হবে - "যাতে ভবিষ্যতে কেউ ধর্ষণের কথা ভাবতেও সাহস না করে"
বাংলাদেশের নিরক্ষর সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ এবং জনগণের উপর নির্ভর করে - "ভয়"ই একমাত্র উপায়, এই জঘন্য কাজ বন্ধ করা যেতে পারে।
