Bangladesh is initiating a BDT 33,000 Crore mega transit revolution by constructing two massive bridges over the Meghna River: Shariatpur-Chandpur (8.04 km) and Barishal-Bhola (10.86 km) under a PPP model by 2033. This historic project will bypass Dhaka's traffic entirely, connect 29 districts and 3 major sea ports, reduce travel time by 7 hours, and boost the national GDP by 1.62%.
