Dhaka College Photography Club warmly wishes everyone a peaceful and blessed Eid-ul-Adha.
Eid-ul-Adha is not only a celebration of sacrifice, but also a reminder of faith, sincerity, and complete devotion to Allah. It teaches us to let go of pride, selfishness, and worldly attachments, and instead embrace compassion, gratitude, and humanity.

Allah says in the Holy Qur’an:

﴿لَن يَنَالَ اللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَاؤُهَا وَلَٰكِن يَنَالُهُ التَّقْوَىٰ مِنكُمْ﴾
— “Neither their meat nor their blood reaches Allah, but what reaches Him is your piety.”
(Surah Al-Hajj 22:37)

May this sacred occasion inspire us to strengthen our faith, spread kindness, and stand beside one another with love and empathy. May Allah accept our sacrifices, forgive our shortcomings, and fill our lives with peace, mercy, and endless blessings.

“আমি চির-বিদ্রোহী বীর —
বিশ্ব ছাড়ায়ে উঠিয়াছি একা চির-উন্নত শির!”
“মম এক হাতে বাঁকা বাঁশের বাঁশরী,
আর হাতে রণতূর্য।”

বাংলা সাহিত্য ও সংস্কৃতির ইতিহাসে কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম এক অনন্ত জাগরণের নাম।তিনি ছিলেন বিদ্রোহের কবি, সাম্যের কবি, মানবতার কবি। তাঁর কলমে যেমন ছিল অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে বজ্রকঠিন প্রতিবাদ, তেমনি ছিল প্রেম, সৌন্দর্য, মানবতা আর সম্প্রীতির অমলিন সুর। শোষণ, বৈষম্য ও অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে তিনি লিখেছিলেন আগুনঝরা কবিতা, আর সেই শব্দগুলো আজও বাঙালির হৃদয়ে সাহসের আলো জ্বালায়।
নজরুল কখনো মাথা নত করতে শেখাননি; তিনি শিখিয়েছেন সত্যের পক্ষে দাঁড়াতে, শিখিয়েছেন মানুষকে মানুষ হিসেবে ভালোবাসতে। তাঁর কবিতা শুধু সাহিত্য নয়, একটি চেতনা একটি শক্তি, যা যুগ থেকে যুগান্তরে তরুণদের অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে উচ্চকণ্ঠ হতে অনুপ্রাণিত করে।আজ এই মহান কবির জন্মজয়ন্তীতে গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও ভালোবাসায় স্মরণ করছি আমাদের জাতীয় কবিকে।তাঁর সৃষ্টি, তাঁর আদর্শ এবং তাঁর বিদ্রোহী আত্মা চিরকাল বেঁচে থাকুক প্রতিটি বাঙালির হৃদয়ে।

19th May became a truly memorable chapter for the Dhaka College Photography Club family as we successfully completed our “2nd Photowalk at Lalbagh Fort.”

Right after college hours, everyone gathered at the Dhaka College Shaheed Minar before starting our journey towards the historic Lalbagh Kella a place where culture, heritage, and timeless beauty meet in every corner.

This photowalk became even more inspiring with the presence of Sufian Himu, Assistant Director of the Bangladesh film industry and a proud senior from the 25 batch, who shared valuable insights about cinematography, visual storytelling, and the journey of filmmaking in Bangladesh.

We were also honored to have professional photographer Dip Hira with us, from whom we learned DSLR basics, camera settings, framing & composition, and techniques of street and heritage photography.

Beyond photography and learning, the day was filled with laughter, bonding, fun activities, and countless unforgettable memories. With cameras full of frames and hearts full of memories, another beautiful photowalk of the Dhaka College Photography Club came to a wonderful end.

Ramisa was not just a name in the news she was a living story, full of dreams, hopes, and a future that was meant to unfold with time. She carried laughter in her moments and meaning in her presence, yet today she is gone, leaving behind silence, grief, and countless unanswered questions for those who loved her most.

The painful reality is how quickly the world moves on voices rise for a moment, hashtags trend, condolences are shared, and then everything slowly fades, while the absence never does. For her family, the pain does not end with time, and the question of justice remains, still hanging in the air like an unfinished sentence.

Justice for Ramisa is not only a demand but a responsibility we owe to every innocent life lost too soon. She deserved safety, dignity, and a future, and remembering her means refusing to let her story become just another forgotten name.

Dhaka College Photography Club (DCPC) is honored to announce that Sufian Himu . Assistant Director of Bangladesh Film Industry will be joining our 2nd Photowalk at Lalbagh Kella as the official mentor of the session.

With his experience in filmmaking, visual storytelling, and creative direction, Sufian Himu has worked closely within the Bangladesh film industry, developing strong expertise in framing, cinematic composition, and practical visual techniques. Through this session, participants will gain valuable insights into photography from both creative and professional perspectives.

During the photowalk, he will guide participants on photo framing, DSLR handling, camera settings, composition, and storytelling through visuals - helping aspiring photographers strengthen both their technical and creative skills.

Dhaka College Model United Nations 2026 was never just an event it felt like the quiet beginning of something much larger, something destined to grow with time.

From April 30 to May 2, Dhaka College wasn’t just a campus anymore; it became a world within walls. Corridors filled with conversations, rooms alive with debate, and minds constantly in motion. Organized by the Dhaka College International Relations Council , this three-day journey brought together young individuals who didn’t just participate they believed. They believed in ideas, in dialogue, and in their ability to shape something meaningful.

Inside the committees, it wasn’t only about representing countries or defending agendas. It was about finding your voice, learning when to stand firm and when to listen, and understanding perspectives that challenged your own. There were moments of intensity, moments of doubt, and moments of quiet realization and each of them mattered.

As the official event partner, the Dhaka College Photography Club didn’t just capture photographs we witnessed stories unfolding in real time. Every frame carried emotion, every shot held a fragment of effort, passion, and growth. These weren’t just pictures; they were memories being preserved before they even had time to fade.This was only the first step, the first chapter of a journey that promises to go much further. And being there, capturing it all, felt like being part of something that will one day be looked back on with pride.

One frame at a time, we didn’t just document an event—we held onto a beginning.

বিশ্বকবি রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের ১৬৫তম জন্মবার্ষিকীতে আমাদের বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা ও ভালোবাসা।
যে মানুষটি কলমের আঁচড়ে আঁকতেন জীবনের প্রতিটি রং, যাঁর শব্দে ভোরের আলো খেলা করত, যাঁর গানে বৃষ্টি নামত মনের ভেতর তিনি আজও আমাদের সবচেয়ে কাছের মানুষ। কবির ভাষায় -

"মরিতে চাহি না আমি সুন্দর ভুবনে,
মানবের মাঝে আমি বাঁচিবারে চাই।"

সত্যিই, রবীন্দ্রনাথ মরেননি। প্রতিটি ভোরের আলোয়, প্রতিটি বর্ষার ফোঁটায়, প্রতিটি নিঃশব্দ সন্ধ্যায় তিনি আজও বেঁচে আছেন আমাদের হৃদয়ে।জন্মদিনে কবিকে ঢাকা কলেজ ফটোগ্রাফি ক্লাবের পক্ষ থেকে জানাই গভীর শ্রদ্ধা, ভালোবাসা ও কৃতজ্ঞতা। তাঁর সৃষ্টির আলো আমাদের চিন্তা, অনুভূতি আর শিল্পচর্চাকে প্রতিনিয়ত নতুন করে পথ দেখায়।ছবির ফ্রেমে যেমন আমরা মুহূর্তকে ধরে রাখি, তেমনি রবীন্দ্রনাথ তাঁর সৃষ্টিতে ধরে রেখেছেন জীবনের অনন্ত সৌন্দর্য যা আমাদের অনুপ্রেরণার চিরন্তন উৎস।

Your dedication, sense of responsibility, and the way you carry everyone along with you make a difference that words often fail to fully express .You lead with patience, you guide with clarity, and most importantly, you create a space where people feel valued. It’s rare to find someone who can manage challenges while still keeping the team united and motivated, but you do it with a calm strength that inspires everyone around you .This club is more than just a platform today, and a big part of that is because of your effort and vision. You have shown us that leadership is not about authority, but about understanding, support, and consistency.
