UAP Photography Club - UAPPC recently hosted a "ফটো-আড্ডা", bringing together photography enthusiasts for an evening of conversations, stories, and shared experiences around photography.
The session began with our Senior Executives, Md Kawsar Mehmud Jony and Suraiya Bisme Sura , who introduced participants to the club, its activities, and the role of extracurricular engagement in developing creativity, communication, teamwork, and practical skills beyond the classroom. They also shared how participating in club activities can help photographers learn, connect, and grow together.
Following this, 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒉𝒊𝒓 𝑹𝒂𝒉𝒎𝒂𝒏 shared his personal journey behind the lens. From the story behind a photograph to the process of visualizing a frame, he talked about how he approaches photography, what inspires him, and the experiences that continue to motivate him as a photographer. The session offered participants a glimpse into the thoughts and stories that exist beyond a finished photograph.
The conversation continued with 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑴𝒆𝒉𝒆𝒅𝒊 𝑯𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒏 𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒂, who discussed 𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒉𝒚 𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒕𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒅𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒎. He highlighted how photographs can preserve moments, document reality, tell stories, and create a visual record of the world around us.
More than just a photography session, Photo Adda was a space to exchange ideas, share experiences, and look at photography from different perspectives.
