এই চিকেন নেক এর মাত্র ১৮ কিলোমিটার রাস্তা আমরা ব্যবহার করতে পারলে নেপালের সাথে সরাসরি স্থলপথে অনেক কম খরচে বানিজ্য করতে পারতাম। কিন্তু এটা কখনোই পাওয়া যায়নি। অথচ আমরা আমাদের বন্দর দিয়ে দিয়েছি, প্রায় বিনামূল্যে আমাদের টাকায় বানানো রাস্তা দিয়ে দিলাম। একেবারে সব উজাড় করে দিয়ে দিলাম সব।

সময়টা ২০২২ সালের শুরুর দিকে, কোনো এক কারণে নানুর বাড়ি যাওয়া। নানুর বাড়ির নদীর পাড়ে এক গ্রামীণ হাটবাজারের কিছু ছবি তুলতে চাইলেও সেইদিন বাজার বসেনি। তাতে কি চোখ পড়ল অল্পসংখ্যক কিছু বাচ্ছাদের খেলা করতে। ক্যামেরাবন্দী করতে গিয়ে দেখি তাদের চোখ পড়েছে ক্যামেরার দিকে। ক্যামেরাবন্দী করাটা তাদের মন কেড়ে নেয়, খেলা ছেড়ে ছুটে আসে আমার কাছে। সেই সময়েরই কিছু মূহুর্ত রেখেছি ক্যামেরাবন্দী করে। তারা হয়তো জানে না তাদের সোনালী দিনগুলো মনের অজান্তেই পার করছে❤️।
