About me and JH Photography

I love people and nature, and I love taking pictures of them. It is an amazing world out there, full of beauty and inspiration. You just have to take the time to stop and appreciate it (not exactly profound, but very true). Photography is a great way to keep what is important to you at your fingertips. It is fun to go through pictures of events, trips, or just a fun Saturday at the park, and relive what made you take those pictures. My goal is to do this for others, as well as myself. Each time I go out and capture moments, I learn something to use in future adventures with my camera. I also get to spend some quality time with people. Part of photographing people and events is getting to know them. You need to know what is important to them, what makes them smile and shine, not just pose. How cool is it to be able to combine doing something you love with making new friends or experiencing the world around you? Take a look around my site, and let me know what you think.
