On 18 December 2025, the farewell reception ceremony of the Honorable Principal of Bangladesh Air Force Shaheen College Bogura, Group Captain Santanu Chowdhury, GUP, BUP, ACSC, PSC, GD (P) was held in a very dignified and solemn atmosphere.
He joined this institution on 29 September 2024 and played an important role in strengthening the academic activities, administrative management and discipline of the college through efficient leadership, good governance and professionalism during his tenure. His visionary thinking and relentless efforts brought about positive changes in the educational environment.

The college family will remember his contribution with gratitude.

Bangladesh Air Force Shaheen College Bogra organized an Study tour for 12th grade students on 11th December 2025. The destinations of the study tour were Rajshahi University, Rajshahi Udyan, Novotheater and IBADH.

Study tour is an effective means of transforming education into a living and practical experience by combining joy and entertainment. During this Study tour, the Honorable Principal of the college paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Rajshahi University, Proctor and Chairman of Rajshahi Education Board.

This Study tour will play an important role in the knowledge acquisition, practical experience and mental development of the students.

On the occasion of Armed Forces Day 2025 on November 21, 2025, a painting and essay competition was held at Bangladesh Air Force Shaheen College Bogra.
The Principal of the college, Group Captain Shantanu Chowdhury, GUP, BUP, ACSC, PSC, GD (P), was present as the chief guest at the event.

The adjutant of the college, various in-charges and respected teachers of the school branch were also present at the event.
At the end of the event, the college principal distributed prizes among the winning students..

An important seminar titled “Be Safe Online, Be Aware of Cyber Security” was organized at Bangladesh Air Force Shaheen College, Bogra by the initiative of the Cyber Welfare and Information Directorate.

The Principal of the college, Group Captain Shantanu Chowdhury, GUP, BUP, acsc, psc, was present as the chief guest.

Md. Mehedi Hasan Joni (Lecturer, ICT) was present as the keynote speaker at the seminar. The speaker discussed in detail about strategies for staying safe online, cyber security awareness and responsible behavior on social media.
