And when all of this happens at the end of a day in which two people have promised to spend their lives together, it becomes something even more special.

A perfect way to end a wedding day on an island just off the coast of Dubrovnik.

From Ireland to Croatia, a wedding day in Dubrovnik that brought together their closest family and friends.

On the island of Koločep, the day continued with the wedding ceremony, dinner by the sea, and an evening of celebration surrounded by their closest and dearest.

Do you ever find yourself going back to old photographs, just to feel a moment one more time?

I often wonder when a photograph becomes a memory. Maybe it’s when the little details begin to fade, and a photograph becomes the one thing that brings it all back.

For over a decade, I’ve been striving to create photographs worthy of becoming your most cherished memories. The kind you’ll return to years from now, not just to remember how it all looked, but to feel how it all felt.

This is what it looks like when memories are made.

There’s something pretty special about ending a wedding session in the sea.
Maybe it’s the healing power of salt water. Somehow, you always come out with a bigger smile than the one you went in with.
And then you get back to St. Jacob’s, call an Uber to take you back to the hotel… and get rejected because the driver knows exactly what probably happened down at the beach. Wet clothes, wet seats, sand everywhere, no thank you. 😄
So you start walking towards the Old Town instead.
And somehow, that ends up being part of the experience too. Wet hair, salty skin, lots of laughter, talking about the day and that very specific feeling of being completely happy and tired at the same time.
Maybe that’s why I love these sessions. The photos are only a part of the story. 🫶🏻
