I started this page a few years ago as a personal photo blog to document things around Yea that visually appealed to me. This town has so much to offer when you look at it with fresh eyes as I did when I first moved here.

I deliberately didn’t promote my page, I just wanted to see how it grew organically.
Over time I realised that recording these things resonated with locals and rekindled long forgotten memories.

This week we unfortunately saw the fire at the laundrette. A sad chapter for this town. I’m glad that I had photographed the laundrette several times before. History is fleeting. Memories fade. But hopefully recording these moments help keep these memories alive.
