Everyone has their own love language, even the boys.

When Avi’s partner gifted him a session with his best friend Bucky, she said one thing: she really wanted some affectionate photos of them together.

The funny thing was, it became clear pretty quickly that their love language wasn’t super cuddly. Instead, it was playtime, zoomies, and just doing life side by side.

Bucky also does this very cute thing where he looks up at his dad to lift him onto the bed each night 🥹

We always say it’s the little everyday moments like these that mean everything.

And when it came time to choose his photos, Avi filled our largest Storyteller frame with nothing but Bucky being the character he is.

Which really says it all don’t you think? 🧡

Oli and his two dads share the sweetest, most special bond that time and distance could never undo.

Levi and Ryan were a couple when Oli came into their world, and although life has changed since then, they’re still best friends…with Oli still at the heart of their little family.

With Levi heading off to London soon, this session was such a lovely way to celebrate this chapter together and capture memories of Oli to hold onto while he’s away.

Whether it’s the ones we’re born into or the ones we build along the way, family really is everything.

Sometimes people tell us they’d love a photo session with their dog… but don’t really want to be in the photos themselves.

Sessions like this one with Gladys and Clarence are a reminder that your dog can absolutely be the main character, while still capturing all the love and personality that makes your life together so special.

We spent the afternoon photographing these two exactly as they are, wandering from one favourite spot to the next in the beautiful space they share with their humans.

And even though mum and dad stayed mostly behind the scenes, the photos still feel deeply personal which we just love.

Home has a way of doing that after all 🧡

For pet parents there comes a point where you suddenly realise…that time with your dog doesn’t feel as endless as it once did.

This beautiful session with senior goldens Maggie and Reuben, along with their loving pawrents Tanya and Cory, felt extra special.

We spent the afternoon in the beautiful home they built together, capturing all the cuddles, chaos, and little everyday moments they share that mean the most.

As the weather cools down, it’s the perfect time to capture cosy memories at home with your pack that you’ll love for a lifetime.

We’re on the hunt for feline talent for upcoming brand shoots!

We’re not looking for specific breeds, but we are looking for cats who are comfortable in one of the following setups:

-Happy for us to come to your home (with good natural light and a clean, uncluttered space)
-OR a calm, friendly cat who’d be comfortable being photographed at another home location

When & where:

📍 In-home locations, Melbourne metro
📅 Dates TBC (likely weekday shoots)

Baxter turned 2 this week… and let’s just say he knows how to celebrate! 🤭

His mum Elena planned a sweet birthday session for him out in Warrandyte, a favourite location of ours to shoot during autumn.

We took a wander amongst the trees, stopping for cuddles and sniffs along the way.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper birthday without cake…so we found a cute little spot on the jetty to capture Baxter patiently (well almost!) waiting for his first bite.

Being only 2, of course the calm didn’t last long…swipe to the end for all the cake chaos ➡️

So many people who adore their dog would never think to book a beautiful photo session like this.

Carolyn is one of those people, and was recently gifted a shoot with us. She lives in a charming art deco-inspired home with her adorable (and very smiley) aussie shepherd Jasper.

It’s a home her dad Murray built, and one she clearly loves. We spent a relaxed morning there, following Carolyn as she wandered from one favourite cosy spot to the next, with Jasper right beside her.

We even managed to get Jasper’s grandpa Murray in for a few shots too.

Whether they don’t love having their photo taken or don’t want to ‘make a fuss’, some pet parents need a little nudge to capture special memories like these.

Because if there’s one thing we can promise, they’ll always be so thankful they did.
