Legendary Gippslanders...

There is a group of Yarram locals who know no bounds when it comes to promoting the Yarram Regent Theatre.

President of the Regent, Rob Flannagan, Secretary Angie Gutowski, and their loyal band of volunteers are putting the Regent front and centre of entertainment venues in South Gippsland.

With renovations now completed thanks to some grants we secured a few years ago, they put a plan together to make the Theatre more accessible to the local community and decided to open up the mezzanine as a wine bar each Friday night over the summer months.

It has been a huge success with standing-room-only on most Friday nights. Rob and his crew volunteer their time to run the bar. They support the local café next door by offering pizzas on the menu, and they employ local musicians to entertain the crowd.

Their contribution to their local community is extraordinary.

To Rob, Julie, Angie, Leanne, James, Cheryl, Brian and Carolyn, I say thank you for what you are doing to support the local community and for making sure that this magnificent building is open to the community through The Mezz Wine Bar Thursday Movie Nights, Live Music, Live Shows, Concerts and so much more.
