This is another one of the waterfalls that I photographed when visiting the Catlin’s in New Zealand. Very excited to go back there one day.

Another surprise sunrise this morning. I had planned a lie in as it was raining just before. Then all of a sudden the sky went red!

We drove to Tunnel beach and I ran all the way down the 1.6 km track in one go, 20 mins total from leaving the hotel to taking this photo I was just in time! The colours were so intense.

WOW! A stunning sunrise this morning at the Moeraki Boulders.

I almost didn’t get up as the cloud report looked bad, lucky I checked out the window.

We went to Lake Tekapo for the night to photograph the church, but there was scaffolding over it.

As a backup I found a spot off to the edge of the lake away from all of the people to put the drone up, I shot this spot in a few different times. This is a beautiful sunrise from this morning. The lake is actually bright blue, very pretty.

It was a cold magical morning at Mt Cook this morning. The track I wanted to walk is closed at the moment, but we found this view before the track stopped. I look forward to coming back here again!

It’s been so long since I’ve photographed waterfalls! Especially in the rain.

This is Purakanui Falls, from our first leg of the trip.

We were meant to be doing the Glow worm caves tour tonight but the sky was looking good so I moved it to Tuesday which is inconvenient. Got to this spot an hour before sunset to prepare and right when the sky started to light up a bus of people came, one guy was very persistent that they all had to get in front of my camera for their photos.

Luckily before sunset I noticed this cool ring around the sun. Does anyone know what it is ? It turned out to be an unexpected shot I liked!

We’ve been busy since we arrived in NZ yesterday. We have been visiting Nugget point lighthouse which is a bucket list spot for my photography but unfortunately we haven’t had good sky that way yet.

Tonight we went to a different spot called Cannibal bay, and put the drone up. I don’t normally like panos but this shot needed one!

I thought I’d practice taking a few photos of Cardi with my camera on her sunset beach trip. She hated it, it was so hard to keep her still.

The end of a beautiful sunrise this morning, it worked out perfect for my day off.
