A little moment to celebrate.

I’m incredibly proud to have had five images recognised at the 2026 Australian Photographic Prize, including awards across both the Newborn and Creative categories.

🥈 Second Place — Newborn Category
🥉 Third Place — Newborn Category
✨ Plus three awarded images across Newborn & Creative

Photography is something I’m constantly learning, experimenting with and pushing myself creatively in, so having my work recognised alongside so many talented photographers means more than I can say.

Feeling very grateful, very proud, and already thinking about what I can create next.

Thank you to every family who trusts me with their babies and their memories — you make all of this possible.

There’s something so special about watching a family grow through my lens.

I first photographed these two when they were waiting to meet their very first baby. Then I had the privilege of capturing their beautiful girl as a tiny newborn… and now they’re back, preparing to welcome baby number two.

Seeing familiar faces return, watching little ones grow and getting to document the next chapter of their story is one of my absolute favourite parts of this job.

From two to three… and very soon, four.

Thank you for trusting me with these memories all over again. I can’t wait to meet the newest little member of your family.

2nd and 3rd place in the newborn category for the Australian Photographic Prize awards.
Last year, I earned the title of 2025 Newborn Photographer of the Year. And while deep down I feel a little disappointed I couldn't match that this year, I am incredibly proud that these images received 2nd and 3rd.
The feedback alone that I received during the live judging is something I am immensely grateful for.
Thank you to the families who instilled their trust in me and my visions. I couldn't have achieved this without you 😊

There is something so peaceful about these early days—the world slows down, time stands still, and every little detail becomes a memory you'll treasure forever.

Last night, three of my newborn images were judged live at the Australian Photographic Prize, and I'm still smiling! 😁

I'm incredibly happy with the results and so grateful for the thoughtful feedback from the judging panel. It's given me plenty to reflect on and continue growing as an artist.

Now comes the hardest part... waiting! The awards ceremony will be streamed live next Thursday, and I can't wait to find out where the images place. Thank you to everyone who's supported and encouraged me along the way—it truly means the world.

It was such a privilege to spend an evening with the amazing girls at Sale Rainbow Guides, sharing my journey from midwifery to newborn photography, becoming a children's author, and now studying to become a teacher.

One of the most important messages I hoped they took away was that it's okay if your dreams change. Every experience teaches you something valuable and can lead you somewhere you never expected.

Thank you to Sale Rainbow Guides for inviting me to be part of such an inspiring night, and to the incredible women who also shared their stories. Here's to encouraging the next generation to dream big and believe in themselves.

Did you know the average person takes thousands of photos every year, yet very few ever make it off their devices?

Professional photographs deserve to be seen and enjoyed.

Whether it's a statement piece above your couch, a gallery wall in your living room, or a collection for your baby's nursery, I offer carefully curated print collections to suit every home and style.

Your family's story deserves a place on your walls, not hidden away in a folder on your computer.

Balance.
One small word that perfectly describes both this image and the journey of being a photographer.
This image was created to represent the delicate balance between dreams, determination and courage. While it didn't progress to the Top 30 in the Australian Photographic Prize, I'm still proud to have entered it and shared my creative vision.
The silver lining? Three of my newborn images have been selected in the Top 30, and I'm counting down the days until the live judging.
A reminder that success isn't always about one image—it's about continuing to create, learn and grow.

Before I ever picked up a professional camera, my hands were busy holding newborns in hospital rooms as a nurse and midwife. Those years spent caring for families in their most vulnerable, life-changing moments shaped everything about how I run my photography studio today.

People often ask how I transitioned from healthcare to fine art portraiture. The truth is, they are deeply connected. When you bring your days-old baby to my studio, you aren't just getting someone who knows how to adjust lighting. You are getting someone who spent years reading newborn cues, soothing fussy babies, and supporting exhausted new parents.

Winning the 2025 Australian Newborn Photographer of the Year was an absolute dream, but behind the elegant studio portraits and high-contrast gallery art is a very real, very normal mum. I love the timeless, sophisticated work I create, but I also love leaning into the beautiful chaos of family life.
