Our B&W shot of Woonona Shamrocks' winger Tom Ah Tong picked up an award today as a Finalist in the single shot category of the 2025 Photographer Of The Year competition run by Australian Photography Magazine.

This shot was the result of getting myself in the right place for the right moment having read the game leading up to this AND, even more importantly, capturing the insane athleticism of this young man as he scored an incredible try. I have watched him play from the juniors and he has always been a class act (on and off the field).
