Mark Newsham Photography Twenty years of freelance photography - working as a commercial, magazine, wedding photographer and photojournalist. It’s all in a days work.

Twenty years is a long time in photography, so the type of work I do has changed many times with my life and advances in technology. From working with manual focus cameras shooting black & white and slide film to helmet mounted digital video cameras to create web content and the latest digital SLR’s. My work for sports magazines has had me travelling the world to shoot feature stories, magazine co

vers and advertisements for most of the world’s surfing magazines. I’ve travelled to places like Sri Lanka, Hawaii, Spain, Indonesia to shoot stories. More recently it’s been motorcycle magazines and other action sports like rugby league. In the last five years family commitments have keep me much closer to home. This has allowed me to concentrate on commercial and industrial work for corporate clients. My work is used in advertising campaigns that appears in all manner of formats. From annual reports, billboards, newspapers, web, corporate brochures and advertising material. I have been shooting weddings for more than twenty years and my wedding clients benefit from my vast experience in this and other photography fields as well as the best quality equipment available.
