The reception isn't something I share often, but maybe I should.

It's the part of the day where the timeline slows down and the celebration takes over. Where glasses are raised, stories are shared, and your favourite people remind you just how loved you are. It's laughter around crowded tables, teary speeches, packed dance floors, and hugs from people who have been there for many chapters already. There's something pretty special about that.

Sophie & Luke on 35mm | The Cove, Jervis Bay

While Rosie captured the day digitally, I spent the entire wedding shooting film. Every frame becomes so intentional with film. Watching, waiting, anticipating and slowing down for the exact moment. This was the kind of day that felt calm, effortless and full of heart from beginning to end. A privilege to document, and one I'll remember for a long time.

35mm film hits different

Lily & James celebrated their wedding at Wildwood Kangaroo Valley surrounded by bushland, beautiful people, great food and the kind of energy that just felt easy from start to finish. A day full of genuine moments and sweet laughs with friends and family, soaking it all in.

Shooting parts of their wedding on film felt so fitting. The grain, the movement, the softness of it all, I think it captured the feeling of the day perfectly.

A few BTS moments from Australian Fashion Week 2026 for at the show.

There’s something really special about watching so many creative elements come together in one space. Fashion, beauty, movement, lighting, texture, every detail considered so intentionally.

Karla Špetić’s collection felt both elegant and powerful in the most effortless way. Documenting the atmosphere behind it all was such a privilege. Huge credit to Ally and the team for the beautiful nail work, brought to life using polishes backstage.

Still very much in awe of the talent, energy, and creativity that filled those rooms. Thank you for the privilege .

Timeless ceremony details for Keely & James. Soft white styling, amongst the grounds of Ravensthorpe, giving that beautiful garden-party atmosphere. Sarah & Brooke made sure every corner was thoughtfully considered with their styling and coordination. It made for the perfect, dreamy day to capture, alongside a bunch of wonderful local vendors 🤍
