Liffey Falls - Liffey Falls State Reserve

There are several distinct cascades and waterfalls that are part of the Liffey River Waterway, all with their own individual names. Collectively, they are called Liffey Falls, and the largest of the waterfalls is named 'Victoria Falls' (in photo)

Unfortunately, this beautiful place is also known for the Liffey Falls massacre. In 1827 it was in the heart of a conflict zone in a Frontier War over land and resources that led to entire Aboriginal nations to be wiped out.
