An unusual encounter with a White-bellied Sea-eagle at Penrith Weir.

I watched this Sea-eagle hunting low from the fallen trees along the Nepean river, it was not at all successful but made for some interesting flight shots.

I haven't posted anything on this page for a while now and have been avoiding social media in general. I have decided that I need to start posting again and will take this opportunity to ask you a question. I am working on a feature article for Nikon that includes an interview with myself about my photography. One of the questions asks what my favourite image captured to date is, a surprisingly hard question to answer for me as I have many favourites for many reasons. Here is a selection of some of my favourite captures, they are a mixture of portraits, behaviour and action shots. Which one is your favourite? I am leaning towards the Eurasian Coot Running on water as it is an image I planned, that took over two years of trying to get right, the end product (best viewed on a large screen to fully appreciate the moment) exceeded my expectations.
